Overview:

Waseela Smart Building Unit completes an end-to-end ICT/ELV project for the Millennium Hotels and Resorts at Multaqa Mirdif Hills, Dubai, UAE. From design, supply, implementation & post-implementation support; the project consists of the 4-stars Millennium Palace Mirdif (116 Rooms & suits), 132 serviced apartments at Mirdif hills and 36 Retail shops.

Iconic Project Implementation:

Waseela over the years has built the heritage of delivering large-scale complex projects at reasonable costs and minimal risk; all powered and backboned by superior directors and project managers, this project specifically consisted of only 18 field experts between engineers and technicians from Waseela’s side, and top subcontractors that have been selected to deliver within Waseela’s high standard work pace and quality.

The scope of technology selection and deployment in this project included: design review, supply, installation testing & commissioning of the complete ICT/ELV, GRMS, AV/BGM, lighting control and BMS systems for the hotel, serviced apartments and retailers.

Server rooms and data centers:

Hotels are consistently looking for a secure space to house vital BMS, Audio Visual distribution technology and security servers to accommodate critical data-centric servers, and the server Room needs to be secure and well maintained.

Smart Building Unit’s certified in-house team possess an extensive experience in data-centers setup and networking, because it will contain some of the most business-critical elements of hospitality and leisure site, and therefore needs to be persevered to ensure all equipment within runs at the optimum performance level and for the longest recommended lifespan.

Guest Room Management System:

We understand that for hospitality facilities; room automation systems are an essential amplifier for the guests’ satisfaction, which is the utmost priority of any hotel. It manages information sent by instructions, enabling numerous operations to be performed. This includes light controls, sound control, bathroom luxuries features control and other forms of communications/media like smart TV, phone or tablet.

Wi-Fi Access Points:

A survey conducted by Statista found that 89% of hotel guests believed free and seamless internet access was very important. Another survey carried out by Hotels.com found that 56% of business travelers listed free and fast Wi-Fi as the most crucial factor in choosing a hotel. Additionally, guest reviews that highlight poor Wi-Fi connectivity are known to result in loss of bookings for both luxury and economy hotels.

With over 20,000 Wi-Fi access points deployed around the region, Waseela has an in-house certified team with extensive experience, which deployed 412 Wi-Fi access point covering the full area of 96,000 sq. ft. in this project.
