The leading regional telecom system integrator, Waseela, www.waseela.com, announced today that it has been recently awarded a nationwide turnkey Microwave network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project is phased into multiple phases; with the first phase having an estimated value of around SAR 15.0 Million. The project is awarded on turnkey basis; the scope includes planning and design of the network, supply, implementation, integration, optimization, operation and maintenance.

Dr. Samer Taha, Waseela’s CEO, commented on this project by stating that “this turnkey project comes as an additional recognition of Waseela’scapability to deliver large-scale comprehensive projects that include all engineering services required in any turnkey telecom infrastructure project.” This project also adds to the outstanding record of Waseela in delivering high-speed integrated broadband wireless solutions to the MENA region over the last 5 years. The high-speed and cost-effective wireless solutions deployed in this project provide fast rollout alternative to optical fiber solutions in order to quickly deliver high-speed data services to sporadic and vast areas within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Taha added.
