Waseela, the telecom system integrator and managed services provider in the MENA region, announced the expansion of its technology partnerships to include Openwave Mobility's advanced Congestion Control and Mobile Data Charging solutions, extending the scope of Waseela's offering to 3G and 4G mobile operators in the Middle East region.

Based on this partnership, Waseela will be providing system integration services, pre-sale services and post-sales services for the Congestion Control and Mobile Data Charging solutions from Openwave Mobility to mobile operators in the Middle East region. OpenwaveMobility's Congestion Control is a mobile network optimization solution which empowers mobile operators to simultaneously optimize both the cost and quality of video and web traffic across their network. Its Mobile Data Charging solution is an advanced Policy Control and Charging (PCC) solution that enables operators to develop customized price plan offerings and to promote them to target subscriber segments.

The two companies are jointly demonstrating the state-of-the-art mobile network optimization and mobile data charging technology at Waseela'sbooth at GITEX 2012. This demonstration is of critical importance at this time due to the significant growth in Smartphone market penetration across the Middle East region.
